13: Meaning of European law in general?
I'll just go write on what I can think of so and could find interesting in European law. That to me is to help make the often dry matter to more appetizing.
IDEA
So there is an idea that calls itself Europe. The idea is a long time but it was never previously implemented properly. Meanwhile, state there were many national will, wars and conflicts innerhabl Europe. The Second World War has shaken many, and has destroyed much of Europe. Then came the idea to re-create a united Europe, especially to prevent such wars
READINESS FOR IMPLEMENTATION AND IMPLEMENTATION
Zwit Since the end of World War II, then a lot has been done to make this idea into practice. The agreement has worked well particularly at the economic level. Here, most of the successes achieved and there is now an almost completely closed single economic market. A large number of Member States of the EC today by the Monetary Union, a single currency. Not all countries have joined the monetary union.
falls on a political level, but less Enig fast forward, it is hoped a spill-over effect, ie, one hopes and expects that the economy also leads to a sales agreement between polti agreement. The setbacks when trying to introduce a Constitution for Europe, but these have been called into question. There was a crisis in European integration and Europe Finalitätsfrage the idea was again discussed more.
What has been achieved in each case, an agreement that has led to, among other things a 60-year-old peace within Europe, there exists a Union citizenship, which means a lot more mobility within the EC / EU. There is a greater freedom of movement within Europe, particularly at the economic level, what the personal level, each individual brings with them well, because you could work where they may, in its own abilities, too.
the question of power and democratic legitimacy
is a rule, the state power in the European countries today from the people, through a representative democracy. The EU / EC, however, was carried out at the government level, certainly with the consent of national parliaments. It is repeatedly lamented a lack of democracy within the EC / EU, the european Parliament, represents a non-European peoples to appropriate, not in a perfect Electoral equality and the other is within the EC institutions, the institution of the Council of Ministers and not those of the European Parliament, the main legislative body, and thus a legal will for Europe is that owns the life of every citizen, even though such a democratic legitimacy, even if very direct (through legitimate democratic governments, which are still masters of the treaties, have the final decision about what is being done and appoint the Council of Ministers and the Commission and to appoint Rücksprachmit the European Parliament), European legislation is given. Moreover, in the EC / EU, there is an institutional balance, that the state Separation of powers principle replaced. At the different legislative procedures (co-decision procedure is the most important) of both the Council, the-Commission and the European Parliament are involved.
EUROPE OR NATION
Ultimately, however, the question remains how far one is willing to go in the european unification. In particular, the federal principle is probably an important role innerhabl the EU / EC play. This fits well with my view realne conditions within the EU / EC and should therefore continue to expand and mature. Next to it is not in sight, what will be weiterhinentwickeln Europe.
supranational
is what I should write next time.
and protection of minorities, questions of identity ...
